Facts & Milestones
The children of the organization have participated in numerous international camps in countries including Hungary, France, Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Morocco, and Tunisia.
The organization has also hosted several international camps and organizes more than four annual camps for its members.
The organization receives an average of three international delegations daily from various nationalities. A dedicated program is arranged for them, including visits to the homes of martyrs and prisoners, as well as meetings with political and social representatives within the camp.
The organization has provided numerous scholarships for postgraduate studies in countries such as the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. It also supports its students by covering university tuition fees.
Hundreds of medical devices and supplies have been distributed to those in need. In cooperation with international organizations, many patients have been sent abroad for medical treatment, particularly for surgical operations.
The organization maintains strong relationships with international partner institutions, some reaching the level of twinning partnerships. The Swedish Olof Palme International Organization nominated Ibda’a for an international Swedish award.
Ibda’a annually hosts dozens of training camps for national sports teams (football, basketball, and volleyball), providing accommodation and meals for visiting delegations.
Since the establishment of the guesthouse at Ibda’a, it has been rare for a day to pass without hosting guests from various nationalities around the world.
Ibda’a was selected as a model to be replicated across Palestine under the supervision of Catholic Relief Services and funded by Bill Gates through the “Tawasul” project. Through this initiative, Ibda’a supervised the development of 13 Palestinian organizations in the West Bank.
The organization employs between 25 and 50 staff members. Additionally, more than 100 women have participated in the embroidery project.
The organization facilitated Umrah trips for more than 100 individuals, including members of the Diabetes Club.
The organization owns a private bus that is made available free of charge for social events serving residents of the camp and surrounding areas.
