Theater Project

Theater Project

This project was formed in February 2014 by a group of children. Theater and storytelling help children express themselves in a safe and creative way while building confidence and communication skills. They also provide important psychological support by reducing stress, improving emotional well-being, and helping children process their feelings and experiences. One of the shows that the group produces is called “Hathayan” and shows the Palestinian situation through special movement and words. It is part of Mahmoud Darwish’ poem “A’adfi Kafan”, which is about a farewell between a mother and her son who gets martyred by Israeli soldiers.
Program Beneficiaries: 50 children, including 30 girls. From 2026 to 2028, the theater program will reach a total of 150 participants, of whom 90 will be girls.
